The Société Jersiaise have made a decision today, with immediate effect, to restrict access to our building.  The safety and wellbeing of our staff and Members are of utmost importance to us.

Room Hire facilities to the general public are cancelled until further notice.  Certain events will be allowed to go ahead, with restrictions and procedures in place.

Our Office, Bookshop, Library and Photo Archive are now closed to the general public, however we do remain open behind the scenes.  Members will be allowed access but the doors will be locked, please ring the bell for attention, or preferably call us on 758314 or email us on before attending the premises.

If you are ill or have travelled recently, or consider yourself at potential risk in any way, please do not attend the premises at the current time.

Most Sections are postponing their meetings currently and we would advise that this is a sensible form of action.  Should you continue your meetings, please let me know so that we can arrange cleaning afterwards.

Please be assured that we do not intend to alarm anyone, nor are we currently aware of any active diagnosis related to us, we have taken this decision purely to minimise our own risk at this time.
