Facial Reconstruction

Osteologist Rosalind Le Quesne from Underground is working with the Société Jersiaise and Jersey Heritage to set up a digital forensic facial reconstruction all next week at La Hougue Bie. The skull is from a Medieval burial excavated from St Lawrence Church in 2018. She will determine the individual's ancestry with cranial measurements and set up tissue depth markers over the surface, before photographing and 3D scanning the skull ready for the forensic artist.
