Liberation Day 9 May

The Société Jersiaise is closed for Liberation Day.

However if you are visiting this week, you are welcome to browse the large collection of books on the German Occupation and celebration the Liberation in the Lord Coutanche Library. Also, a display in our Member's Room Invasions of Jersey looks three previous invasions of Jersey ending with, of course, the German invasion and occupation of 1940-1954.

Library CLOSED Friday

The Library will be closed on Friday 19 May so that staff can attend the Société Jersiaise visit to the Société d'Histoire et d'Archéologie de l'Arrondissement de Saint-Malo (SHAASM). Apologies for any inconvenience.
